Do you ever wish you could have great-tasting coffee wherever you go, without having to carry around bulky brewing tools?
FinalPress is the new portable coffee brewer that’s designed to brew easy and affordable, great-tasting coffee on the go and from the comfort of your home.
What is FinalPress?
FinalPress is a lightweight and portable coffee brewing maker that effortlessly brews coffee or tea directly into your mug, eliminating any mess from spilled grounds.
It’s made from high-quality, stainless steel for lightweight durability, and does not require professional barista experience, specialty brewing equipment, or messy cleanups.
FinalPress will replace bulky coffee brewing tools while making great-tasting coffee with minimal time and effort.
And one big advantage is that Final Press is portable!
You can make both hot and cold brew coffee with the FinalPress Coffee Maker.
FinalPress is specifically designed and engineered to make brewing easy and affordable at home and on the go.
All you do is add your coffee grounds into the FinalPress, stir, wait and press the plunger – and voila! freshly brewed, barista-standard coffee.

What do I get?
The FinalPress coffee maker set includes
- The spring-powered plunger
- Laser-cut 200 micron filter
- Carrying case
- Mason jar lid for a cold brew
Spring and Locking Mechanism
FinalPress has a patent-pending stainless steel spring and locking mechanism that gives you full control over the brewing process.
By stirring your filter between 10 to 30 seconds, you can choose your desired coffee strength: from very light and delicate to full-bodied and robust.
Then simply leave it in the cup for a couple of minutes longer and finally press the plunger multiple times (or more) to maximize the rich flavors.
1.5 million trees are cut down to make coffee filters every year, 16 billion disposable coffee cups with plastic lids are used each year, and the amount of landfilled coffee pods could circle the earth more than 10 times…
FinalPress is therefore a great environmentally friendly alternative to store-bought coffee or machine-brewed coffee.
Saves You Money
If you’re somebody who buys coffee pods or barista-made coffee on a regular basis, you’ll know that the cost can add up.
By using FinalPress and coffee grounds, you can get 100 cups for every $7 spent on the grounds, whereas disposable capsules will roughly cost $7 for just 10 cups.
Most people who buy barista coffee are spending roughly $2,000 on coffee a year. Think about how much money you’d save by using FinalPress instead!
Portable and Lightweight
If you spend a lot of time traveling or working from an office, you may previously have avoided investing in coffee machines or bulky coffee-brewing equipment that claims to be portable but in reality, is still pretty cumbersome.
The FinalPress on the other hand really is incredibly lightweight and portable. It has a collapsing mechanism that allows you to fit it in your bag with ease, and it comes with a handy storage case too.
Full Control of Brewing
Whether you like your coffee well-rounded and medium-bodied or as strong as you like. All you need to do is alter the amount of ground coffee and/or press the plunger as many times as you wish to maximize the strength of the coffee.
No Need to Buy Filters
FinalPress requires no paper filters or capsules because it has its own in-built filter. Consequently, it’s environmentally friendly and keeps your coffee free from chemicals.
What does FinalPress cost?
On Indiegogo and Kickstarter the 1x FinalPress Early Bird is offered for – $54 USD.
However, there may not be many more available at this price by the time you read this post.
How Do I Make Coffee With Final Press Coffee Maker?
It is simple to make coffee with the Final Press coffee maker.
There are six main steps to make coffee
Grind your favorite coffee beans or use pre-ground coffee. Grind enough whole beans to give about 2 to 3 teaspoons, or about 12 g (0.42 oz), of ground coffee.
- Fill the basket filter with your ground coffee beans.
- Screw the filter onto the plunger
- Place Final Press into your cup or mug and slowly add about 175 ml of water.
- Hold Final Press at the top of the plunger and stir around your cup for about 15 times.
- Leave in the hot water for about 1 minute
- Stir the Final Press again for about 30 times
- Leave in hot water for another 1 minute
- Press the plunger a couple of times to release more of the extracted coffee
The following is a description with images of the process from Final Press
Cleaning the FinalPress
Once you’ve finished using your FinalPress, press the plunger outside the glass to dry all the coffee grounds and tea leaves in the filter so they won’t stick.
Then, release any remaining grounds or tea leaves from the filter into the trash, and rinse the filter under warm water to complete the cleaning process in less than 15 seconds. Simple!
Make Cold Brew Coffee With FinalPress
Each FinalPress reward also comes with a customized stainless steel jar lid that fits any regular-mouth mason jar that most of us already have at home.
Use this to enjoy a refreshing cold brew on a hot day: all you need to do is add cold water to the jar instead of hot water, then leave your FinalPress in the jar, close the customized lid and leave it in the fridge overnight. See the instructions above.
FinalPress’s system works by allowing the coffee grounds to slowly brew in cold water. The stainless steel micron filter creates and preserves perfectly balanced, smooth-tasting coffee every time, eliminating bitter oils and fatty acids.
FinalPress is an exciting new concept and we’re pretty sure this is going to be a hit. It’s the perfect brewing solution for anyone who travels or wants a lightweight and portable way to make great-tasting coffee on-the-go.
We also like the fact that it’s environmentally friendly and has a design that’s built to last – which will also save you money in the long run, as well as reduce the number of coffee filters and capsules that end up on landfills.
Oh…and if you haven’t already guessed you can also use the Final Press Coffee Maker to brew tea!
I’m not sure if the Final Press will go into full manufacturing.
The comments on Indieogogo are a mix of good and not-so-good. The comments have mainly been about the late delivery of their perk.
The sample I received was in good condition and I had no problems.
Above all, it’s simple, easy-to-use, portable, and produces great-tasting coffee. What’s not to love?
What is Indiegogo?
Here are the words from Indiegogo itself
“Indiegogo is an online crowdfunding platform that brings Users together and allows Users to seek to raise funds for their own Campaigns and to contribute to the Campaigns of others. Campaign Owners can offer Perks to Contributors in thanks for the Contributors’ donation of funds.”
A ‘campaign’ is a fund-raising effort by a particular person, group, business, or company. If you invest in a campaign then you may receive the product or service advertised at a discount and this is called a ‘perk’.
However, you should understand that Indiegogo is not a shopping platform which means that even if you do invest in a product or service you may not receive the product or service.
As detailed in the Indiegogo terms of service
“Indiegogo Does Not Guarantee that Campaigns Will Succeed or that Perks Will Be Delivered or Deemed Satisfactory. By contributing to a Campaign, Contributors are supporting an idea, project, or cause they care about and want to help make happen. Like anyone getting in on an early-stage project, Contributors accept the risk that the Campaign may experience changes, delays, and unforeseen challenges, or that a Campaign, and its Perks, might not come to fruition”
So the main message here is ‘investor beware’ and only invest what you are willing to risk. OK?
