Discounts on Best Espresso Machines

First up, is one of the best espresso machines on the market during 2019. The Breville BES870XL Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine has over 2000 user reviews, is a clear favorite AND gas a fantabulous discount…

List price normally $699.95 but now it is $488.99! That is a good 30% Discount!

This quality home espresso machine is not called the ‘Barista Express’ for nothing. Your guests will wonder how you managed to find the time to become a trained barista. The thing is you don’t need to go to a barista course you only need to know how to use this machine and that is easy. Have a look at the video below:

The Breville BES870XL is our best pick for a do-it-yourself home espresso machine.

It is a little on the heavy side at about 23-pound, but this can be an advantage because it won’t jump all over the counter-top when you are adjusting the portafilter. The stainless steel build also means that it is higher quality compared with other espresso machines on the market. We also like the built-in coffee bean grinder because it saves getting another machine to clutter your kitchen space. The grinder delivers the ground coffee directly into the portafilter and then all you need to do is tamp, put it back in the portafilter holder, and then press the appropriate button!

A handy little item for this and other espresso machines is a place to put all your used coffee grounds. In this industry, this is known as a ‘knock box’. Here is a sturdy little Breville Knock Box to go with your new Breville espresso machine (or any other espresso machine).

Discounts on Super-Automatic Espresso Machines

What is a ‘Super-Automatic Espresso Machine’?

Super-Automatic Espresso Machines automate the whole process of making espresso from grinding the coffee to the final pour.  The semi-automatic espresso machines discussed above automate some of the steps but leave out others such as grinding the coffee beans (where you adjust the grind yourself). Some Super-Automatic machines can also be programmed to make other types of coffee such as cappuccino, mocha, etc.

Of course, super-automatic espresso machines are not completely self-sufficient and you need to fill it with coffee beans, water, and milk (or soy, almond or other).

These machines are fast and easy to use. However, they are highly sophisticated machines and if anything goes wrong then you may be looking at a big repair bill.

Discounts on Best Drip/Filter Coffee Makers

Drip coffee makers are easy to use, usually more affordable, often programmable, and brew a good cup of coffee.

Some of the drip coffee machines are also combined with good burr grinders to give you the ideal grind for your coffee.

You won’t find any of the fancier cappuccino, macchiato, lattes, or espresso brews. However, if you like your coffee simple black or black with milk (with or without sugar) then a drip coffee maker is for you!

One of our favorite drip coffee makers is the Braun KF7150BK Brew Sense Drip Coffee Maker.

This is a sleek, sturdy, and stylish coffee maker. It is modern and looks good wherever it is placed. We also like that it has its own grinder and having a bit of programming help doesn’t hurt. Best of all it is now has a 27% discount off the normal list price.

If this coffee maker is not for you then take a look at the following table that lists more quality drip coffee makers for with discounts from  27 to 63%.

Why is it called ‘Black Friday’?

There are lots of stories about the phrase ‘Black Friday’ and how it came to be associated with the crazy and frenzied shopping day. Wikipedia has a great story on the origin of this phrase. It originated in the US and was often used to describe the absence of workers on the day after Thanksgiving.

The phrase grew in popularity and was apparently used by the New York Times to refer to the busiest shopping and traffic day of the year. Black Friday is now essentially worldwide and is a popular export of the US (especially with shoppers looking for discounts, bargains, and deals)!

Why is it called Cyber Monday?

Well, Wikipedia comes to the rescue again and states that

“Cyber Monday is a marketing term for the Monday after the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States. It was created by retailers to encourage people to shop online.”

There you are! It is a completely fictitious day, which is now a reality, developed by marketers to get your money. And they do that by offering great discounts.

We hope that you found some great bargains in this post.

We wish you a Happy Thanksgiving and a fruitful Black Friday and Cyber Monday!

Coffee is good!
